Intech Investments (top 5 equity fund in the US) and other companies are starting to use a new, radically different way of enhancing their real-time operations. Rather than use humans to guide algorithms to problems, they instead publish live data and have algorithms, contributed by anyone, anywhere, come to find it. They can take advantage of the teach/student collaboration features of PythonAnywhere. This will give them an opportunity to directly impact businesses in real-time, while also gaining familiarity with some issues associated with real-time analytics.
