We are a nonprofit management organization specializing in capacity building consultation for our 45-member association of human services nonprofits. Our project goal is to reorganize our capacity building assessment program and to narrow the scope of the program last updated in 2013, to make it more appealing, easy to understand for members and better serve their needs. The project will hinge on the re-development of a capacity assessment rating system based on existing models that are focused on leadership capacity, adaptive capacity, management capacity and operational/technical capacity, as well as the development of strategy surrounding data to be gathered for assessment of these categories and its delivery to members. Each of the categories will now represent separate assessment products The new model should be deliverable as an individual consultation product for members first, but must be easy to adapt into a supportive workshop. Student participants will be expected to suggest a competitive price structure for the final capacity-building assessment product.
