| Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity | Keshet co-hosts Thrive, a Jewish coalition to defend trans and LGBTQ+ Youth, and our member organizations are always seeking advocacy opportunities. We are looking to navigate the interim between legislative sessions and election cycles to determine the best opportunities for advocacy. When legislative sessions begin to open in early 2024, we want to have the information about pre-filed and planned bills, an educated community ready to take action virtually and in person, and a plan for how to get folks to their Capitals for advocacy with their legislators.
| Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required | We are hoping there is advocacy around state-level LGBTQ+ policy being heard in the courts. This could even look like public education campaigns. To develop these campaigns, there will need to be a strategic planning process to identify targets, tactics, and steps.
| Project Synopsis: Expected Results | We are looking to: 1. Mobilize 600 people for virtual and in person advocacy 2. Engage 20 coalition member organizations in action opportunities
