| Project Topics | Growth Strategy Marketing Product Design & Development Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis Sales & Business Development |
| Skills & Expertise | Management Consulting Market Research Marketing Strategy |
| Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity | Chany Ventures seeks to address the capital and information gap, by building a collective of underestimated small business owners and accelerating their growth.
The first member of our portfolio is a bed and breakfast located in Coyoacan. The owner is converting the property from a family home and doesn't have a background in hospitality. The property is located near many new commercial construction sites and prominent tourist attractions such as the Fridah Kahlo Museum, making it a prime location to launch a bed and breakfast. The b&b Spanish colonial aesthetic will be adorned with chocolate and cacao-themed decor, celebrating the afro and indigenous heritage of Mexico and the history of cacao. Offerings like spa services, skincare products, and experiences will serve as additional revenue streams and bring more foot traffic into the space. Project Address: Bruselas 61, Del Carmen, Coyoacan, 04100 |
| Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required | Before opening the b&b, a lot of research and strategic planning activities need to take place to optimize profits. Preliminary work has been done on these topics, but additional perspective would be very valuable to the team.
1. In-depth market research of the short-term stay, experiences (yoga, cacao ceremonies, reiki sessions, etc), and spa services market specifically near Coyoacan. 2. Brand development 3. Price strategy for rooms and auxiliary services 4. Marketing strategy that leverages services to drive demand for stays 6. Cost analysis and recommendations for hotel expenses 7. PR strategy that attracts a sophisticated traveler & wellness audience |
| Project Synopsis: Expected Results | 1. Increased projected profit margins of at least 20% across all hotel activities through strategic pricing & cost analysis.
2. Marketing strategy that increases sales potential of all services by at least 30% |
